Regardless of where we live, we must all care about preventing environmental injustices:
- We are all members of a community or communities, and the impacts of environmental harms affect us all;
- Building community organizations with resources (including access to legal support) to address environmental injustices and their impacts strengthens communities and makes them more resilient; and
- For lawyers, updating and innovating methods of delivering legal services not only benefits communities and provides replicable tools for other social movements—it also benefits younger attorneys who are facing uncertain economic and social futures.
